I speak fluent spanish, so will that help learn it better?
I’ve heard brazilian anouncers and some words are similar to spanish words.

I want to learn for when i go to World Cup 2014 in Brazil. And when i marry a brazilian in the future (lol just kidding)

I’m planning to learn it online.

I’m fluent in portuguese (mom is brazilian) and it’s not hard.
I know spanish because of my dad and he knows perfect portuguese, it’s similar. Pronunciation is a mix of some italian and french. You might have difficulty with nasal sounds but it’s not that horrible.

Portuguese from Portugal is way more similar to Spanish though. Because they use the "tu" pronoun. and even vos (not você).

But besides that I mean it’s not so bad at all if you have that spanish foundation.

I need to learn spanish for my new job and I am wondering which way would be the best knowing that I’ll be travelling most of the time and I will probably need to do it online.
My level in spanish is Begginer/Intermediary, I’ve done 5 years of spanish but it was 8 years ago so I don’t remember a lot but i can skip the basics.
Do you have recommendations on tutors, softwares, good prices that I can find to learn spanish as fast as possible?

speak only spanish for three months.

Well you see all my friends know spanish and always speak it so i really want to learn.

Firstly because you can speak English..it shouldn’t be so hard for you to learn Spanish.

I would recommend having a vocab book. You can get good vocab if you just type in "Spanish Vocabulary" onto google.

And then start learning some grammatical structures, and VERBS they are very important!! And before you know it, you will be speaking Spanish in no time!!

Hi, there are a few options to learn online..if you want to learn with a native speaker then go for language exchange sites where native spaniards will chat while they learn English.

The bbc has a great site for all levels, giving videos, quizzes and games to help.

By the way – stay with the free courses. The premium content was only recently added, so it definitely hasn’t been refined and corrected yet. And, in my humble opinion, the information they’ve added isn’t worth paying. You can EASILY find any information you need outside of what is given for free from other sources. It is mostly extraneous information.
