Where can I learn Sign Language online..for free:)?

I’m interested in learning sign language. Where online, could I find some common words to learn…for free :)

Sign language is great to know! My friend and I used to talk about guys when we did not want to know what we were saying (We used "I want to go NOW!" a lot) :)

    or do a yahoo search of asl browser that will bring up a sight from michigan state university and that has some signs on it too…all three of these sights are video sights, so you actually see the signs in action which makes it easier to learn!
