Has anyone learned to speak Spanish using only the internet?

I am thinking about learning to speak fluent Spanish however long it takes but i dont want to go to classes as i dont have the funds to do so, so i was wondering if anyone could recommend any websites that they used to learn Spanish?

I’ve improved my English using the Internet and I think that you can do the same with your Spanish. A couple of free websites are:

http://www.livemocha.com/
http://www.italki.com/
http://www.babbel.com/

I’d recommend you as well:

http://tuspanish.com/

where you can learn Spanish while having fun (watching videos, listenig to podcasts, reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and more).

Cheers.

I think, using the courses, and trying to speak on your own, and using skype/msn to speak to natives, you might get pretty close, but to become TRULY fluent, most people have to go live immersed in the target language.

You could go a long way using the internet.
